
Court Gould
Executive Director, Sustainable Pittsburgh
Court Gould has served as executive director of Sustainable Pittsburgh since the organization's founding in 1998. Sustainable Pittsburgh routinely advises businesses and communities on strategies to implement sustainable development processes and creates positive change by activating networks and formal performance programs. His community involvement includes serving as board member and past chairman of the Local Government Academy and past board chairman of GTECH. He also serves on the advisory board for the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management and is a member of the implementation committee of the Power of 32 regional visioning project.
Mr. Gould earned a master’s in public administration from the University of Southern California. His professional development experiences include participating as a German Marshall Fund delegate in the study of regional economies in Europe, addressing an international conference on sustainable development in Hiroshima, completing the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and earning credentials as a Professional Coach from Duquesne University.
