Dwayne Thomas
United Mineworkers of America, SWPA and President of PA Association for Retired Americans
Dwayne is a retired mine worker, born and raised and currently residing in Fayette County. He was an Auto Worker for 9 years before becoming a member of the United Mine Workers for 37 years, where he was Treasurer of Maple Creek Local 1248. Dwayne is now President of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired Americans, an organization of 300,000 PA retirees who advocate for working people. PARA is partnered with the Center for Coalfield Justice on economic justice in southwestern PA.
