Rob Altenburg

Director, PennFuture Energy Center

Rob Altenburg is the Director of the Energy Center at PennFuture where he focuses on regulatory and policy issues around climate change, clean energy, and energy efficiency. In addition to local and national media appearances he has provided testimony on these issues before the state legislature, state and federal regulatory agencies, and the White House. Before joining PennFuture Rob spent nearly 22 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in both the Bureau of Air Quality and the Policy Office. He is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvanian and the Widener Commonwealth Law School.
